(“Sow” The Right Words Into Your Heart!)
TO THE BIBLE: Luke 8:11
“Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God.”
LET’S TALK
Let’s read what the Apostle James wrote in James 1:26: “If anyone among you thinks he is religious, and does not bridle his tongue but deceives his own heart, this one’s religion is useless.”
Deceiving the heart here actually refers to making the spirit believe a lie. It’s different from what some people mean when they say, “That guy is deceiving himself.”
He was talking spiritually when he said, “If anyone among you thinks he is religious, and does not bridle his tongue but deceives his own heart, this one’s religion is useless.”
For example, when a Christian says, “You know I’m poor; I don’t have anything; nothing seems to be working in my life,” he’s speaking contrary to the will and provisions of Christ in the Gospel, and such words will go into his spirit as seed.
In Mark 4:26-27, Jesus said, “…The kingdom of God is as if a man should scatter seed on the ground, and should sleep by night and rise by day, and the seed should sprout and grow, he himself does not know how.”
All the sower had to do was sow the seed; the seed is the Word, and the heart of man is the ground that receives it (Mark 4:14-15). What you say is what you get (Mark 11:23).
For the one who consistently speaks of poverty and lack, for example, even if all the wealth in the world were delivered to him for free, he would still become poor.
God has prepared great things beyond human imagination for those who love Him, and by His Spirit, He has revealed those things to us (1 Corinthians 2:9-12).
The Spirit searches or scans all things—the deep and profound things of God. He’s the only one who knows them, just as no man knows the things of a man’s heart except the spirit of that man (1 Corinthians 2:11).
Therefore, the human spirit functions like the Holy Spirit: he scans through you, collating your words—words you’ve sown in your spirit—so as to produce them for you as a harvest.
Keep sowing the right words into your heart. Only speak words that are in sync with what God has said concerning you.

Pray:
Dear Father, your Word is the light that guides my spirit, helping me to say only those things that are consistent with your plan, will and purpose for my life. Thus, my life is a harvest of joy, peace, prosperity, health and promotions, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
