(You Are The Expression Of God’s Kingdom To The World)

TO THE BIBLE: Luke 22:29 NIV
“And I confer on you a kingdom, just as my Father conferred one on me.”

LET’S TALK
A short while before His crucifixion, The Lord Jesus said something remarkable to His disciples. He acknowledged their faithfulness and unwavering support during His trials. Because of their steadfastness, He said, “…I confer on you a kingdom, just as my Father conferred one on me” (Luke 22:29 NIV).

Hebrews 12:28 gives more insight into this. It says, “Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear.”

At first glance, it might seem like this is a future promise, but that’s not the case. It’s written in the affirmative—it’s a present reality!

The Complete Jewish Bible (CJB) makes this clear: “Therefore, since we have received an unshakeable kingdom….” We have received an unshakeable kingdom; in this day and in this hour of our lives. Right now, you’re living in it, exercising its authority, power, and influence.

This kingdom has extraordinary heritage, but many aren’t aware of this. Even though you live in this world, you belong to much greater one—the Kingdom of God.

It’s the reason you must know the life and modus operandi of the Kingdom of God to which you belong and superimpose it on this natural world, which is the lesser world. You were sent to be a witness of the Kingdom to this natural world.

You are its voice, its messenger, and its expression. You’re to show the world the reality of God’s Kingdom and invite others to be part of it.

You’ve been entrusted with the keys to bring them in. What an honor to be raised, empowered, and commissioned for this purpose. Hallelujah!

Dear Father, thank you for conferring on us a kingdom of unshakeable authority and glory. I live in the reality of this truth and walk in the full blessings and extraordinary heritage of the Kingdom. I exercise the authority, power, dominion and influence of the Kingdom and walk on in victory, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
