(Win Souls Into God’s Kingdom)
TO THE BIBLE: Acts 18:9-11 CEV
“One night, Paul had a vision, and in it the Lord said, “Don’t be afraid to keep on preaching. Don’t stop! I am with you, and you won’t be harmed. Many people in this city belong to me.” Paul stayed on in Corinth for a year and a half, teaching God’s message to the people.”
LET’S TALK
Reading this Scripture in Acts 18:9-11, we see how the Lord Jesus bolstered Paul’s confidence and encouraged him to go on preaching the Gospel. He urged him not to stop or give in to intimidation while sharing the divine message with the Gentiles, assuring him that he wouldn’t be hurt.
It’s clear that the most precious and influential people in the sight of God are soul winners. Aren’t you glad you’re a soul winner?
As a soul winner, the Lord Himself is your defence; He protects you against evil and shields you from the attacks of the enemy. This assurance is why you should always make your life count in the Kingdom of God by reaching out to the lost.
The Lord Jesus said to Paul, “Do not be afraid, but speak, and do not keep silent; for I am with you, and no one will attack you to hurt you; for I have many people in this city” (Acts 18:9-10).
God has got super protection for your life as you go about His business of reaching the lost. No wonder He says seek first the Kingdom and its expansion and all other things shall be added unto you (Matthew 6:33).
Let everything you do in life result in Kingdom expansion. It doesn’t matter who you are or where you are, be committed to the spread of the gospel.
God needs you; He’s kept you on this earth because He has a lot of people He wants to reach through you. Take the gospel to your world. Keep sharing the good news with those around you, and do it with courage, boldness and confidence! (1 Corinthians 9:16).
