(You’re The Direct Object Of God’s Unconditional Love)
TO THE BIBLE: John 3:16 NIV
“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”
LET’S TALK
“Mum, do you still love me?” Peggy asked her mum as she did the dishes, not sure of the answer she would get. She had just ventured into her mum’s room to get a hairbrush and accidentally toppled over an expensive vase, causing it to smash into bits.
“Why do you ask, darling? And what was that loud crash?” Peggy’s mum questioned.
“That was me, mum!” Peggy cried, “I accidentally broke your vase; I’m sorry!”
“Oh my! Okay, I know you didn’t mean to do that! You should always know I love you unconditionally; forget about the vase,” she reassured, hugging her.
When we say, “God loves you,” some folks think it’s just a generic talk about His love for everyone. Yes, He does love everyone but He thinks of and relates to you like you’re the only one on the face of the earth.
Each one of us is uniquely valuable to God; we’re as valuable to Him as Jesus is. This is so huge a truth that it takes understanding the Word of God and the mind of the Spirit to accept it.
God proved His love for you with the price He paid: the life of Jesus. The Bible says, “…God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us” (Romans 5:8 NIV).
If you were the only one on earth that needed salvation, Jesus would have still come to die for you. He didn’t come because we were many.
He wants everyone to know, embrace, and walk in the truth of His love. He doesn’t want anyone to end up in hell (2 Peter 3:9). That’s why He’s entrusted us with the message of His love to share it with the whole world.
Remember, He saved you and made you His partner in saving others—a soul winner. The responsibility is now on you to reach those in your sphere of influence with the news of Christ’s love and saving power.
Let it be your ultimate passion, joy, love and pride to give all you’ve got for the spread of the Gospel around the world. It’s such a great honour and privilege to be a part of something so sublime and so divine.

Pray
Dear Father, what a blessing it is to know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that I was saved but with the precious blood of Christ as of a lamb without blemish and without spot. I go all out with the Gospel and see others through your eyes of kindness and love, reaching out to them with the good news of salvation, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
