(You’re More Than A Conqueror In Christ Jesus)
TO THE BIBLE: John 16:33 NIV
“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.“
LET’S TALK
Have you recently found yourself experiencing all kinds of trials, temptations, and persecutions as a result of your faith in Christ? The Lord has a word for you today. He’s asking me to tell you not to be afraid or lose faith in the face of such seemingly overwhelming challenges and opposition. Instead, maintain your composure and boldly declare, “I’m more than a conqueror!”
The Word says, “Yes, and all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution” (2 Timothy 3:12). If you’re a Christian, you’ll face tribulations, challenges and difficulties.
Nevertheless, the Lord assures us in Isaiah 43:2, “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, nor shall the flame scorch you.” Notice He didn’t say there won’t be trouble, but that the trouble would be of no effect.
Recall the testimony of the three Hebrew boys in Daniel chapter 3. In spite of the hatred, rejection, false accusations, condemnation, and sentence to death in the fiery furnace, they came out unhurt and victorious in the end.
Their story wasn’t only about their miraculous deliverance from a fiery end, but also about the terrible persecution they faced. So you’ve got to realise that there’re adversaries on every side, but in the midst of them all, the Word of God puts you over. Therefore, refuse to fear, for the Lord is with you…always!

Dear Father, I thank you for leading me always to triumph and helping me win every day against every odd or adversity. I exercise my authority in Christ, over all the ability of the enemy, and I’m victorious now and always, in the Name of Jesus. Amen.
