(You Need Accurate Knowledge Of God’s Word!)
TO THE BIBLE: Proverbs 24:14 KJV
“So shall the knowledge of wisdom be unto thy soul: when thou hast found it, then there shall be a reward, and thy expectation shall not be cut off.”
LET’S TALK
You attend a school to gain knowledge through instructions, lessons and trainings that can help you develop your mind and become a better person. Your learning process began from when you were a child, but you didn’t stop at the kindergarten level; you’ve gone through various stages of learning over the years.
Similarly, it’s important to understand that the Christian life involves a continuous growth process. There’s always something new to learn and new improvements to be made as you continually study and hear God’s Word.
This is why you shouldn’t think you’ve done everything there is to do in a situation, because you can only act on the basis of the knowledge and understanding of God’s Word you have at a particular time.
There’s a big difference between doing everything you know to do and doing everything that ought to be done in a particular situation. Sometimes, what you know may just not be enough.
God said, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge…” (Hosea 4:6); He makes it clear the reason some Christians suffer: they lack accurate and adequate knowledge of how the Kingdom of God functions. That’s where the real problem is; it’s not because their challenges are overwhelming.
Accurate knowledge of God’s Word will help you take charge of your life and control the circumstances of your existence, instead of being controlled by them. That’s why I’m urging you today to go for the Word!
