(The Word Of God Makes You Clean)

TO THE BIBLE: JOHN 15:3
“Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.”

LET’S TALK
If you’re responsible for leading other young people in church, you may sometimes find yourself worried that some of them aren’t living right.

Well, I’ve got the solution for you—keep teaching them God’s Word, and they’ll be transformed! There’s no better way to purify God’s people than by sharing His Word with them.

Notice what we read in our opening verse: the Lord Jesus said, “You’re clean through the Word that I have spoken unto you. The Word has that sanctifying power.

The Bible says, “Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word” (Ephesians 5:25–26).

The Word of God washes. That’s why, when people come to church and listen to the Word, they feel like they’re in the best place ever. That’s what the Word of God does to your spirit.

When the true Word of God is taught, people will always come to hear that message that purifies, empowers, and inspires them. It will even propel them to become soul winners, for the Word makes them fishers of men, as He did the early disciples.

Dear Father, thank you for the purifying power of your Word; it cleanses me, renews my mind, transforms my life, and reprogrammes my thoughts in the direction of your perfect will for my life. My mind is reconditioned for supernatural growth, prosperity and divine health, in Jesus’Name. Amen.
