(The Lord Is Forever The Same)

TO THE BIBLE: Hebrews 13:8
“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.”

LET’S TALK
God has a good plan for every man, woman, boy, or girl on this earth because the Bible tells us in Psalm 33:5, “The earth is full of the goodness of the LORD.”

Yet, the experience of many people is one of sadness, pain, and frustration. Why is this the case? Has God changed His mind? Absolutely not!

When we declare, “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever,” as seen in our opening verse (Hebrews 13:8), it is not a cliché. It is absolute truth that comes from the Scriptures! Jesus has not changed; He remains unchanged, yesterday, today, and forever.

The reason many people encounter difficulties and cry out in frustration is because they are ignorant of God’s good plan for them (Ephesians 2:10).

Unless they look into the Scriptures, they may never discover that plan, and when they fail to discover it, it may seem as though God isn’t listening to them.

Yet, He has already provided the solution even before they were born. That is why He sent us to preach the Gospel, for they won’t know this unless someone shows it to them (Romans 10:14).

There are two major reasons for their pain and suffering, apart from ignorance: firstly, there is a devil who blinds them to God’s perfect will.

Secondly, other human beings, inspired by Satan and the demons of darkness, afflict others with their selfishness and greed. They have used their wickedness to frustrate their fellow men. It is man’s inhumanity to man.

God knew what would happen, and that is why He planned the answer long before you came. The answer is Jesus Christ!

If you embrace the life that He brought and walk in its light, His glory will be manifested in your life.

And despite the two aforementioned factors, you can use the power of His Name to live above Satan and the systems of this world. His Name has authority in heaven, on earth, and under the earth (Philippians 2:9-11).

Thank you, dear Lord, for the honour of helping people discover Jesus and their inheritance in Christ. I pray for new converts and God’s people around the world today, that they walk in the reality of the fullness of the blessings of Christ, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
