(You’re Endowed With Competence)
TO THE BIBLE: 2 Corinthians 9:8 KJV
“And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work.”
LET’S TALK
Our opening verse reminds us that God is able to direct toward you all the grace you need to live an excellent and impactful life.
James 4:6 says “…He gives more grace…” This means He equips you with the skills, abilities, and strength you need to succeed. How inspiring that is!
Think about what the Apostle Paul said in 2 Corinthians 3:5 (AMPC): “Not that we are fit (qualified and sufficient in ability) of ourselves…but our power and ability and sufficiency are from God.”
That’s the life God has given you! He’s made you capable, efficient, and capable of every good work.
This truth should give you a mindset of endless possibilities.
You’re graced to excel in everything—your studies, hobbies, and daily goals. When challenges come, you can confidently say, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” (Philippians 4:13).
Whenever you’re given a task or an opportunity, know that you’re equipped to succeed. You make great things happen because God has specially graced you to produce excellence.
Psalm 1:3 (NKJV) describes you perfectly: “He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season, whose leaf also shall not wither; and whatever he does shall prosper.”
So, live with the confidence that you were created and graced to excel. Colossians 1:10 says, “…walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work, and growing in the knowledge of God.” This is your reality! Hallelujah!
