(Eternal Life Is Available For Everyone)

TO THE BIBLE: Titus 1:2-3 NIV
“In the hope of eternal life, which God, who does not lie, promised before the beginning of time, and which now at his appointed season he has brought to light through the preaching entrusted to me by the command of God our Savior”

LET’S TALK
How amazing this is! God promised to give His kind of life—eternal life—to everyone before the world began, and today it’s happened! He planned to make it available to men through the preaching of the Gospel.

It’s a gift to the whole world. You might say, “But I thought eternal life was only a gift to Christians?” No, it isn’t; John 3:16 KJV says, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

It’s the world of sinners that He gave this beautiful gift to! Once this life is received by faith in Christ by believing in Jesus and confessing His Lordship, it recreates that person and he or she becomes a Christian.

For a lot of people, when they hear the words “eternal life,” they think it’s a life that keeps going on and on forever, but that’s only a part of it. Receiving that life brings you into oneness and sonship with God.

Jesus said in John 5:26, “For as the Father has life in Himself, so He has granted the Son to have life in Himself.”

John tells us in his own letter, “…This is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life” (1 John 5:11-12).

Eternal life is the present-hour possession of the one who has Jesus: “…this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has life….”

Eternal life is the superior life and nature of God; the God-life. It’s the essence of divinity. This life in you makes you superior to Satan, supplanting your human life when you were born again. Glory to God!

Eternal life is in my spirit. I’m not ordinary; the divine life courses through my being! I’m an associate of the God-kind; superior to Satan, impregnable to sickness, disease and infirmities. Hallelujah!
