He Fulfilled The Law For Us – Rhapsody Of Realities TeeVo Devotional August 5th

(We Were Ushered Into The Life Of Righteousness Through Christ)

TO THE BIBLE: Romans 10:4 ESV
“…Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes.”

LET’S TALK
“Lisa, I heard you preaching a minute ago; did you say Jesus Christ fulfilled the law for righteousness and now, being born again, we don’t have to keep the law of Moses to be righteous?” Sean asked.

“Yeah, and I meant it! Romans 10:4 says that the Lord Jesus fulfilled all of God’s requirements for our righteousness, and now, by reason of our being in Christ, we’ve been ushered into the life of righteousness, fulfilled promises, and blessings now,” Lisa explained.

You know, God spoke to Moses and instructed him to tell the Israelites that if they’d obey his voice, then they’d be His treasured possession—a priestly kingdom and a holy nation: “Now therefore, if you will indeed obey My voice and keep My covenant, then you shall be a special treasure to Me above all people; for all the earth is Mine. And you shall be to Me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation…” (Exodus 19:5-6).

But, thank God, that promise which was preconditioned on Israel’s obedience to the Law has been fulfilled in us through the Lord Jesus Christ.

We have been ushered into this fulfilled promise by the new birth in Christ, and we’re now His special treasure above all people. Hallelujah!

That’s the reason Apostle Peter declared in his letter, “…You are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a dedicated nation, [God’s] own purchased, special people, that you may set forth the wonderful deeds and display the virtues and perfections of Him Who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light” (1 Peter 2:9 AMPC).

Additionally, the Spirit says through Apostle Paul in 2 Corinthians 1:20, “For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us.”

All the blessings have been fulfilled in Christ Jesus. You’re not waiting on God to fulfil any promise; you can live in the reality of these promises and blessings even now. Hallelujah!
