THE EAR

The Ear

The ear is the organ of hearing and in mammals, balance. In mammals, the ear is usually described as having three parts—the outer ear, the middle ear and the inner ear. This God-given auditory organ is very important, through its function you receive faith from God’s Word, for the Bible declares that faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God (Romans 10:17). We all know that our ears are responsible for hearing, but here are some fun facts about the ear and hearing:

The human tongue is the most ignored organ and yet, it’s one of the most interesting organs in the human body. It helps us taste our food, and more importantly, it shapes the course of our lives according to the Scriptures (Proverbs 15:4 and 18:21)! Below are some other important functions of the tongue as well:

THE RIVER NILE

River Nile

River Nile is the world’s longest river, and it flows in Africa. This river has its importance particularly for its connection to the important events in the past and also its name can be found in some scriptures too. Moses, as an infant, was found by Pharaoh’s daughter in a papyrus basket floating along the River Nile (Exodus 2:1-10). Moses would later become the great prophet who led the Israelites out of slavery in Egypt.

1. Sit-ups won’t give you a flat stomach:

A recently published research study found carrying out six weeks of abdominal exercises alone was not enough to reduce abdominal fat. Many people fall into the trap of thinking that they can achieve a flat stomach by doing only crunches.
